Jurgen Klopp: 'Philippe Coutinho fit to start against Crystal Palace'

Jurgen Klopp declares Philippe Coutinho fit to start ahead of Liverpool's visit from Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Philippe Coutinho will return to the side when they host Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday.

The Brazilian, who returned to form with two goals against Chelsea in last week's 3-1 win, missed Thursday's 1-0 victoryover Rubin Kazan in the Europa League.

However, Klopp told reporters that the diminutive playmaker will be back in the side when the Eagles visit Merseyside.

Klopp said: "Coutinho is okay [to play]. He told me he was okay on Thursday too! The same with Adam Lallana, who played some minutes.

"We had some small problems after the game in Kazan, which is normal, and we have to wait until the last hours to see who can play, but there is nothing serious."

The win over the Russian side extended the Reds' unbeaten run to 12 games in all competitions.
