Liverpool have moved to ease concerns over the back injury suffered by midfielder Naby Keita during Wednesday night's Champions League defeat to Napoli.
Keita went down off the ball after only 19 minutes of the Group C match at the Stadio San Paolo and eventually had to be stretchered off despite the injury occurring in apparently innocuous circumstances.
Liverpool confirmed last night that the Guinea international had been taken to hospital and kept in overnight in order to undergo further tests.
However, Sky Sports News reports that Keita is now 'fine' and will make his way back to Merseyside with the rest of the Liverpool squad as initially planned.
The £53m summer signing could even be in contention to feature during Sunday's top-of-the-table clash with Manchester City at Anfield.
