Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Liverpool on Saturday, September 12.

The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Liverpool eye possible reinforcements.

Jurgen Klopp's champions have not been particularly busy during recent windows, but that has not stopped the rumour mill from linking them with additions.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.

Saturday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:

Liverpool are reportedly working on a €25m (£23m) deal for Anderlecht teenager Jeremy Doku.

The 18-year-old has already made 34 appearances in all competitions for his Belgian outfit's first team, contributing five goals and four assists in the process.

Doku made his first two outings for Belgium during the recent international break, meanwhile, and netted his first goal for the national team against Iceland in the UEFA Nations League.

Liverpool are believed to have a long-standing interest in the forward, and according to Het Nieuwsblad, the Premier League champions are hopeful of securing his signature this summer.

The report claims that Liverpool could offer €25m (£23m) for the youngster and would be prepared to allow him to remain on loan with Anderlecht for the 2020-21 campaign.

Jurgen Klopp's side are due to open their Premier League campaign against Leeds United on Saturday.

Liverpool 'agree personal terms with Thiago Alcantara'

Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara ahead of a proposed move to Anfield during this summer's transfer window.

Thiago's contract at the Allianz Arena is due to expire next June, and he is widely expected to leave the European champions before the current market closes in early October.

Liverpool continue to be strongly linked with the Spain international, and according to Bild, the Reds have now agreed personal terms with the experienced midfielder.

However, the report claims that the Premier League champions are still finding it difficult to agree a transfer fee with the treble winners.

Bayern are allegedly not prepared to allow Thiago to leave for under £27.5m, but Liverpool feel that the figure is too high for a player who could discuss personal terms over a free transfer in January 2021.

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old, who has won seven Bundesliga titles during his time in German football.
