Midfielder Emre Can has said that he and his Liverpool teammates believe that they can win a trophy this season.
While the Reds are effectively out of the race for the Premier League title, the Merseyside giants have progressed through to the last 16 of the Champions League and the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Liverpool are also keen to ensure a top-four place in the top-flight standings, but Can has insisted that Jurgen Klopp's side are eager to secure silverware before the summer.
The 23-year-old is quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying: "First of all there are still many games with Liverpool to concentrate on, but I hope to be able to stay healthy and go to the World Cup in the summer.
"We have been in a good way and we want to try to continue winning as many games as possible and hopefully that can mean having a good run in the FA Cup as well as the Premier League and the Champions League.
"We want to win a trophy. We are full of belief that winning a title is something this squad is capable of achieving and we will give our best."
Can is potentially in his final six months at Anfield, with the German international being tipped to sign for Juventus at the end of the season.
