Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler has taken the news of him losing his record for scoring the Premier League's fastest hat-trick in good spirit.
Southampton's Sadio Mane netted a treble against Aston Villa in 2 minutes and 56 seconds in their 6-1 win over Tim Sherwood's side, beating Fowler's record of 4 minutes and 33 seconds against Arsenal in 1994.
The 40-year-old received a spate of messages from fans and naysayers following the feat, but he responded in a tongue-in-cheek manner.
Getting a lot of messages here... What's happened😉
