Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard believes Luis Suarez to be one of the top players in the world and gave his teammate the FIFA Ballon d'Or vote.
Suarez scored twice in Liverpool's 4-0 win against Fulham on Saturday to take his tally to eight goals in six games for the Reds this season.
"I voted for him in my top three [for the Ballon d'Or], he got one of my votes," Gerrard told the club's official website.
"Everyone knows how highly I rate him, we're very lucky to have him. He's certainly in the top four or five players in the world."
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher recently declared the Uruguayan to be the finest striker he played with during his 16-year career.
