Gary Lineker 'excited' by Jurgen Klopp's impending arrival at Liverpool

Gary Lineker describes Jurgen Klopp's impending move to Liverpool as a "bloody exciting" appointment.

Former England international Gary Lineker has claimed that Jurgen Klopp's impending arrival at Liverpool is a "bloody exciting" appointment.

Widespread reports have claimed that the former Borussia Dortmund boss has agreed a three-year deal with the Premier League outfit.

Klopp became the early favourite to take the job after Liverpool sacked Brendan Rodgers last Sunday.

The German coach, who won two Bundesliga titles during a seven-year spell at Dortmund, is believed to be travelling to Merseyside to finish off the final touches of his deal.

After hearing the news, Lineker tweeted: "Jurgen Klopp has agreed a 3 year deal with Liverpool. That, ladies & gentlemen, is a bloody exciting appointment."

Liverpool are currently 10th in the Premier League table.
