Team News: Gibson starts for Everton, Liverpool unchanged

Brendan Rodgers names an unchanged starting lineup to face Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield this afternoon.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has named the same starting XI that beat Newcastle United 6-0 last weekend for Liverpool's game against local rivals Everton this afternoon.

Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson will be looking to add to their goal count from last week, while Fabio Borini and Jonjo Shelvey are among the substitutes.

Meanwhile, boss David Moyes has brought Darron Gibson into Everton's midfield for their trip to Anfield.

Nikica Jelavic drops to the bench, with Victor Anichebe continuing up front.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Carragher, Gerrard, Coutinho, Henderson, Downing, Lucas, Sturridge

Everton: Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Distin, Coleman, Osman, Pienaar, Fellaini, Gibson, Mirrallas, Anichebe
