Liverpool manager Arne Slot has made four changes to his starting lineup for Saturday's clash with Bournemouth, as Alisson Becker misses out and Darwin Nunez starts.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has made four changes to his starting lineup for Saturday's clash with Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The Reds host Andoni Iraola's side on the back of a 3-1 win over AC Milan in the Champions League, which represented the perfect response to last weekend's shock 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.

Seven of the starters from San Siro have been retained, although one of Slot's changes is enforced, as first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker misses out with the muscle injury he aggravated in Milan.

As a result, Caoimhin Kelleher makes his first start of the season in between the posts, and he is one of two defensive alterations made by Slot, who has also recalled Andy Robertson at left-back over Kostas Tsimikas.

Further up the field, the Liverpool head coach has also swapped out two of his attacking starters from the victory over Milan, as Darwin Nunez makes his first start of the season in the number nine role.

The Uruguay international replaces Diogo Jota up front, while Luis Diaz is also recalled to the left wing over Cody Gakpo, as Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah hold their places as expected.

As for Bournemouth, head coach Andoni Iraola has made a raft of defensive changes for the visit to Anfield, where Kepa Arrizabalaga unsurprisingly returns in goal after being ineligible for the loss to parent club Chelsea last week.

Mark Travers drops down to the bench as a result, but despite only losing to a late Christopher Nkunku goal against the Blues, the Cherries have swapped out two members of their back four from that 1-0 defeat.

Marcos Senesi and Adam Smith are the ones to make way, as Julian Araujo starts at right-back, while Dean Huijsen forms a youthful central pairing with Ilya Zabarnyi.

The Cherries manager has also kept faith with Evanilson up front, in spite of the Brazilian's penalty miss last weekend, as Enes Unal starts on the bench alongside the fit-again Dango Ouattara.
