Barcelona 'turn down Liverpool's unhappy Nathaniel Clyne'

Barcelona reportedly turn down the chance to sign Nathaniel Clyne, who is rumoured to be unhappy with his status at Liverpool.

Barcelona have turned down the chance to sign Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne, according to reports.

The 25-year-old made 33 Premier League appearances during his debut campaign at Anfield, quickly establishing himself as the first-choice right-back following his move from Southampton.

However, the Sunday Times reports that Clyne is unhappy with his status at the club and has been since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp in October.

The report goes on to state that Liverpool have offered Clyne to Barcelona, but the Spanish giants have turned down the chance to sign the England international.

Barcelona are understood to be looking for a new right-back having allowed Dani Alves to join Juventus on a free transfer.
