Report: Fabio Borini to join Inter Milan

Serie A giants Inter Milan are looking to sign Liverpool striker Fabio Borini on a permanent deal, according to reports.

Serie A giants Inter Milan are in pole position to sign Liverpool striker Fabio Borini ahead of Fiorentina, according to reports.

The Italian, who rejected moves to Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers over the summer, has made just six appearances for the Reds so far this season.

According to the Daily Star, the Nerazzurri are eager to bring the 23-year-old to the San Siro, with Liverpool reportedly keen to cash in on the forward rather than opt for a loan move.

Borini scored 10 goals in 40 games for Sunderland last season during a loan spell at the Stadium of Light.
