Steven Gerrard appears to confirm that Emre Can will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has appeared to confirm that Emre Can will leave the club in the summer.

The midfielder's future has been a talking point since before the season began due to his current contract situation.

The German international, who has been heavily linked to Juventus, will come to the end of his current deal at the close of the season.

While speaking on BT Sport, Gerrard discussed possible midfield transfer options for the Merseyside outfit adding: "We'll have to see what happens. Emre Can is leaving but [Naby] Keita is coming in."

Can has been a Liverpool player since his 2014 move from Bayer Leverkusen.
