Inter Milan reportedly agree a fee with Liverpool for out-of-favour striker Daniel Sturridge.

Inter Milan have reportedly agreed a fee with Liverpool for out-of-favour striker Daniel Sturridge.

Italian source Corriere dello Sport says that the Serie A outfit will pay an initial fee of €2m (£1.75m) to loan the 28-year-old until the end of the season, with an option of permanently securing his fixture for €28.5m (£25m).

Sturridge, who has been unable to get a look-in with Jurgen Klopp's team this term, favours a move abroad ahead of a Premier League switch - reducing the chances potential moves for the striker from West Ham United and Newcastle United.

The England international has hopes of being included in Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate's plans for the World Cup finals, and knows that he must get game time if he is to travel to Russia.

Sturridge last started a game for Liverpool in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in November.
