Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly considering the sale of Alvaro Morata to help fund a double swoop for strikers Dusan Vlahovic and Mauro Icardi next summer.

Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly considering the sale of Alvaro Morata to help fund a double swoop for strikers Dusan Vlahovic and Mauro Icardi next summer.

Vlahovic, who has been linked with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, is expected to leave Fiorentina in one of the upcoming transfer windows after rejecting the club's latest offer to extend his contract, which expires in June 2023.

Icardi, meanwhile, has struggled to stake a claim as a regular starter at Paris Saint-Germain, following his move from Inter Milan to the French capital in September 2020.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia, Juventus are looking the sell current number nine Morata, as they have made both Vlahovic and Icardi their primary targets for next summer's transfer window.

Morata joined Juve on an initial two-year loan deal from Atletico Madrid in September 2020, costing around £17m (€20m), and the Bianconeri have the option to make his move permanent for around £29.7m (€35m) next summer.

However, if Juventus are to purchase both Vlahovic and Icardi, which could cost up to £100m, then the sale of Morata would help balance their books.

Morata has made 144 appearances in two spells for Juve across all competitions, scoring 50 goals and providing 31 assists.
