Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly planning to hold talks with Mario Balotelli's agent over the striker's Anfield future.
The Italian outcast is currently on loan at AC Milan after falling out of favour during his time on Merseyside.
Brendan Rodgers grew frustrated with Balotelli's behaviour and gave the green light for a season-long deal to be put in place, but new boss Klopp is said to be open to keeping him at Liverpool next summer.
According to the Daily Star, the former Borussia Dortmund chief will hold discussions with Mino Raiola in the hope of potentially getting the best out of the 25-year-old upon his return.
Balotelli, who has scored one goal in four games for Milan since joining in August, is unable to return to his parent club before the end of the current season.
