Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic has joined Anderlecht on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has not made a single appearance for Liverpool so far this term, having spent the previous two seasons out on loan with Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon and Hull City.
Markovic will now spend another spell away from Anfield, joining Belgian outfit Anderlecht for the remainder of the current campaign having seen a proposed move to Swansea City fail to materialise earlier in the day.
"Lazar Markovic has completed a loan switch to Anderlecht until the end of the current campaign," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The Serbia winger has finalised a deal to spend the remainder of the season with the Belgian side."
Markovic joined Liverpool in 2014 but has gone on to make just 34 appearances for the club across all competitions, scoring three goals.
