Celtic manager Neil Lennon has dismissed reports linking Georgios Samaras with a move to Liverpool.
The Reds are currently short of strikers and the Greek international has been one name rumoured to be on the verge of a move to Brendan Rodgers's side.
However, Lennon has said that the transfer talk has no substance.
"It's just speculation, someone taking a flyer," said the Hoops boss.
"I don't think he'd be wanting to leave in too much of a hurry. The fact we're through [to the Champions League last 16] is the difference."
Celtic qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League with a second-place finish in Group G.
