Liverpool and Inter Milan have reportedly expressed an interest in swooping for Manchester City midfielder David Silva.
The Spain international is said to have been in talks with the Citizens on and off since the start of last season over extending his current deal by a further 12 months.
According to The Sun, however, Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of Silva and is interested in signing the 31-year-old should Emre Can depart Anfield.
Inter, meanwhile, are second in Serie A and the report suggests that boss Luciano Spalletti is keen to bolster his creative options next summer if they qualify for the Champions League.
Silva joined City from Valencia in 2010 and has made 320 appearances for the club.
