Liverpool will reportedly push to sign Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond as soon as Oussama Assaidi cuts short his loan stint at Stoke City in favour of a move to the Middle East.
The Reds have been repeatedly linked with a move for the England Under-21 international, but the 20-year-old has remained loyal to the Canaries so far.
However, the Daily Mail claims that the Merseysiders may opt to move for the youngster if Assaidi completes a permanent switch away from the club this month.
His potential exit could give Liverpool a transfer fee and would free up a squad place for manager Brendan Rodgers to sign Redmond.
The Moroccan midfielder's rumoured switch may also give Stoke boss Mark Hughes the opportunity to swoop for Tottenham Hotspur's out-of-favour wideman Aaron Lennon, who is widely expected to leave White Hart Lane before the end of the mid-season window.
