Liverpool have reportedly made a second bid to Real Madrid for midfielder Asier Illarramendi this summer.
The Reds were linked with a move for the ex-Real Sociedad star, who has struggled to cement a regular place since his move to the Bernabeu.
However, The People clams that Liverpool have since tabled a second bid with Los Merengues of around £15m.
It is thought that Illarramendi has already been told by new Real manager, Rafael Benitez, that he will not be a part of his plans for Real.
The 25-year-old joined from Real Sociedad in 2013 for a deal around £25m.
