Liverpool reportedly agree a combined £18m deal for the transfers of Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge and Thomas Ince of Blackpool in January.

Liverpool have reportedly completed the January signings of Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge and Thomas Ince of Blackpool for a combined price of £18m.

According to The Times, the Reds will prise Sturridge for £14m while Ince would join up with his boyhood club for around £4m.

Journalist Rory Smith revealed on Twitter this evening that the moves should be announced soon in the New Year.

"As I suspect most newspapers will be reporting tomorrow, [Liverpool] should announce Sturridge and Ince in the first couple of days of January. Deals done," wrote Smith.

Ince only left the Merseyside outfit for Blackpool last summer but has impressed in the Championship, netting 19 goals in 53 appearances for the Tangerines.
