Liverpool 'will not entertain player-plus-cash deals for Philippe Coutinho'

Liverpool are reportedly not interested in signing Rafinha and Andre Gomes in a deal that would see Philippe Coutinho joining Barcelona.

Liverpool are reportedly not interested in taking any players from Barcelona in a deal involving Philippe Coutinho.

The Catalan giants have been heavily linked with a big-money move for the Brazilian star, who penned a new five-year contract at Anfield in January.

The Reds have reportedly turned down an initial £72m offer from the Spanish club, as well as an improved £89m bid.

Rumours in Spain have claimed that Rafinha and Andre Gomes could be used in a deal that would see Coutinho move to Camp Nou, but according to the Liverpool Echo, the Merseyside outfit are not interested in any player-plus-cash deals.

Coutinho scored 13 Premier League goals and registered seven assists last season.
