Liverpool willing to loan out Cameron Brannagan

Liverpool will allow Cameron Brannagan to leave the club on loan, according to Under-21 manager Michael Beale.

Liverpool's Under-21 manager Michael Beale has revealed that the club would consider loan offers for Cameron Brannagan.

The 19-year-old has featured regularly for the club's development side in recent months and he made his senior debut during the Europa League clash with Bordeaux earlier this month.

However, Beale has insisted that Brannagan would now benefit from getting regular match action elsewhere, rather than staying on the fringes of Brendan Rodgers's first team.

"For the last year, Cameron's been very good at U21 level and we're trying to look for somebody to take him on loan, where he can go and express at league level," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"If a club is interested in Cam we're more than happy to listen. He is also desperate to take that next step as well. It would be lovely for him to be in and around the first team, but at the moment that would be as a bit part player and mainly in the cup competitions."

The midfielder has been with Liverpool since Under-9 level.
