Barcelona midfielder Pedri, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool, reportedly has a £70m release clause in his contract.

Liverpool have reportedly been informed that Barcelona midfielder Pedri is available for £70m this summer.

The recently-capped Spain international has been touted as a target for the reigning Premier League champions.

Barca are eager to keep hold of the 18-year-old, who has featured 44 times in all competitions this season.

However, The Mirror reports that Pedri has a £70m release clause in his contract, making him affordable to Liverpool.

The Catalan giants intend to offer the teenager a new deal to remove that clause, but that will not be before the next transfer window.

Pedri's current deal at Camp Nou runs through until 2022, meaning that he could leave as a free agent in a little over a year's time if fresh terms are not agreed.
