Martin Montoya has reportedly rejected interest from Liverpool in favour of joining Juventus in January.
The Barcelona defender has surprisingly worked his way into the first team at the Spanish giants in recent weeks, but it is understood that the right-back will still depart the Camp Nou next month.
Liverpool were firmly interested in bringing him to Anfield, but Montoya has chosen Juventus ahead of the Reds and a number other European clubs, according to Sport.
It is believed that the 23-year-old will officially join the Italian champions when the transfer window reopens.
