Report: Crystal Palace want Jose Enrique

A report claims that Crystal Palace want to sign Liverpool defender Jose Enrique.

Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool defender Jose Enrique this month.

The Spaniard moved to Anfield from Newcastle United in 2011 and has been ever-present during his first three seasons with the Reds.

However, he has struggled for first-team football this season, with summer signing Alberto Moreno preferred at left-back.

According to The Telegraph, Palace boss Alan Pardew, who worked with Enrique at Newcastle, is keen on bringing the 28-year-old to Selhurst Park.

A number of European clubs are believed to be monitoring developments.
