Sunderland are allegedly closing in on a deal to sign Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, who made eight first-team appearances for the Reds last season, has been unable to secure the same level of playing time this time around.
The Sun claims that Jurgen Klopp will allow Ejaria to leave for the Stadium of Light in order to gain more experience before cementing a place in the senior squad at Anfield.
The England Under-20 international is currently plying his trade with Liverpool's Under-23s, for whom he starred in a 1-0 win over Derby County on Monday evening.
Ejaria could follow midfielder Marko Grujic through the door at Liverpool, after the Serbian was loaned out to Cardiff City earlier this month.
