West Bromwich Albion 'could sell Saido Berahino'

West Bromwich Albion technical director Terry Burton reveals that the club may sell Saido Berahino this month.

West Bromwich Albion have revealed that they could be open to selling £25m-rated forward Saido Berahino during the January transfer window.

The Baggies took to Twitter this week to dismiss rumours linking the English striker with a move away from The Hawthorns.

However, technical director Terry Burton has suggested that new West Brom manager Tony Pulis may be willing to let the 21-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool, leave the club if the price is right.

Burton is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "Tony is a totally realistic football manager.

"He tries to win football matches and if he needs to sell somebody to do something else, he will sell them. He will do whatever is best to get results for the club and that could involve any aspect.

"Whatever he wants, we will work our hardest to make happen. Tony is in total charge."

Pulis was appointed as Alan Irvine's successor on Thursday.
