West Ham United are reportedly one of the clubs weighing up a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius when the transfer window reopens.

The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Besiktas, but the Turkish outfit are understood to have no interest in making the move permanent for £7.25m at the end of the season.

Karius's time at Liverpool was defined by two costly errors in the 2018 Champions League final and, with Alisson Becker now the undisputed number one at Anfield, the German is surplus to requirements at his parent club.

Voetbal24 reports that Karius could still remain in the Premier League, though, with West Ham among the clubs keeping tabs on the shot-stopper.

The Hammers have struggled in that position this season, with Lukasz Fabianski suffering an injury-hit campaign and replacement Roberto enduring an error-strewn and ill-fated run in the team.

However, David Moyes's side could face competition from Sporting Lisbon and Anderlecht, both of whom are also considering an approach.

Karius will reportedly be available for around €5m (£4.5m), allowing the Reds to recoup most of the money they spent to sign him in 2016.
