Liverpool will reportedly hand a trial to USA international DeAndre Yedlin this summer.
The Seattle Sounders right-back impressed at the ongoing World Cup in his outings against Portugal and Belgium.
However, the Liverpool coaching staff have been aware of the youngster's ability since last year's Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, which has prompted the offer of a pre-season trial, according to reports in America.
It is believed that the versatility of Yedlin, who can also play at left-back and on the wing, is his main appeal to Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
The 20-year-old has been with the Sounders since 2010.
