Malaga midfielder Pedro Morales is expected to miss the next week of training with a hamstring injury.

The 28-year-old, who suffered the injury in the 2-2 draw with Sevilla at the weekend, has suffered a grade one tear, according to reports in Spain.

However, it is understood that the Chilean could return for Malaga's league meeting with Rayo Vallecano next weekend, depending on his recovery over the next few days.

Morales joined the Spanish side from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer.
