Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League showdown with Bournemouth on Wednesday.

Manchester City will be looking to build on two successive 5-0 victories in the Premier League when they welcome relegation-threatened Bournemouth to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Pep Guardiola's side have notched up five goals without reply against Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion following their dismal defeat to Southampton, and the recently-dethroned champions of last season have already guaranteed their runners-up spot with three games left to play.

Ciy's league standing may hold little significance depending on the outcome of their appeal against their proposed two-year European ban, although Guardiola is confident that his side's ban will be overturned when the decision is revealed on Monday.

For now, though, City must stick to the task at hand against Bournemouth before their quest for more silverware continues at the weekend with an FA Cup semi-final clash against Arsenal.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the midweek visit of Bournemouth.

Sergio Aguero

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Manchester City's only confirmed absentee is the prolific Sergio Aguero, who will not feature in the Premier League again this season after undergoing knee surgery. However, with the Citizens still competing for Champions League glory, the Argentine could be back in time for the European fixtures in August.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

City have no suspension concerns heading into Wednesday's clash with the Cherries.
