Sergio Aguero out for a month

Manuel Pellegrini confirms that Sergio Aguero will be out for a month with a hamstring injury.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will be out for a month with the hamstring injury he suffered in the 5-1 win away to Tottenham Hotspur.

Citizens manager Manuel Pellegrini said that Aguero would be missed, but that there are plenty of alternatives in Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo.

"Samir Nasri continues treatment," he said in a press conference. "Javi Garcia and Aguero are injured. Doctor has seen Aguero and he will be out for a month.

"It will be difficult because he is a top player for us but we have the players to replace him. He has just come back from injury and Negredo, Jovetic and Dzeko can replace him."

City take on Chelsea on Monday night.
