Kevin De Bruyne: 'Manchester City can win everything'

Kevin De Bruyne believes that Manchester City can compete for "everything" this season although he acknowledges that fighting on four fronts is difficult.

Kevin De Bruyne has suggested that Manchester City can compete for "everything" this season, although he acknowledges that fighting on four fronts is difficult.

The Citizens have only dropped two points all season in the Premier League, as well as remaining in the hunt for the League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League.

"I know I can't win by myself, I can play very good, like I did another season, but I'd prefer even to play less [well] and in the end have some titles," De Bruyne told The Times.

"Since I've been here we've just won a League Cup. It's time to win something major. My feeling is we can win everything... that's not to say we're going to win everything. It's so hard to do everything, the four competitions.

"Against Monaco [in the Champions League last season], we had one bad half and it's done. But Premier League teams are doing much better in the Champions League than the last years."

City have spent heavily on strengthening their ranks in the summer, splashing out around £220m on the likes of Kyle Walker, Ederson, Danilo and Benjamin Mendy.
