Football Association rules out Joe Hart punishment

The FA confirms that Manchester City's Joe Hart will not be punished for his clash with George Boyd.

The Football Association has confirmed that Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart will not be punished for his clash with Hull City's George Boyd on Saturday.

Hart and Boyd confronted each other towards the end of the Blues' 2-0 victory at the KC Stadium in the Premier League.

The goalkeeper took exception to Boyd's attempt to win Hull a penalty before Boyd allegedly spat at the England international.

The FA has yet to decide whether to impose a sanction on the Hull forward for his part in the incident.
