AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani admits that his club are interested in signing Mario Balotelli.

AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has conceded that he would be keen on signing Mario Balotelli, should the striker ever be made available for transfer by Manchester City.

The 21-year-old, who has endured a mixed time during his spell with City, starred during his side's 6-1 victory over rivals Manchester United yesterday afternoon.

Milan were one of a number of clubs linked with the Italian international during the summer and Galliani has confessed that he would welcome the player at the San Siro.

"Balotelli is my passion, he's a great player," Galliani told Sky Italia.

"Take him to Milan? Who knows, for now it remains a passion."

Galliani also believes that Balotelli would have no problem forming a partnership with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"Ibrahimovic? He's fine and will remain until the end of his contract. Ibra and Balotelli will compensate each other, they would be good together," he added.

Balotelli spent three years with AC's main rivals Inter Milan before moving to the Etihad Stadium in 2010.
