Pep Guardiola says that he would remain as Manchester City manager even if the club were demoted to League Two.

Pep Guardiola has reiterated his commitment to Manchester City, stating that he would remain at the club even if they were demoted to League Two.

Last week, UEFA announced that City had been banned from European competitions for two years due to breaching financial regulations.

While City plan to appeal the punishment, doubts remain over whether Guardiola and the club's star men will stay at the Etihad Stadium.

However, despite the small possibility of being demoted down the English football pyramid, the Spaniard insists that he has no plans to leave the Premier League giants.

Guardiola is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "Look, whatever league we are in, I will still be here. Even if they put us in League Two, I will still be here. This is a time for sticking together."

Winger Raheem Sterling is also said to have also committed his immediate future to the North-West outfit.
