Gabriel Jesus is happy to see Manchester City fans enjoying themselves thanks to the team's emphatic performances and victories.

Gabriel Jesus has expressed his delight at seeing the Manchester City fans enjoying themselves thanks to the club's swashbuckling performances.

On Saturday, Pep Guardiola's charges claimed a 7-2 win over Stoke City, putting them top of the Premier League table on 22 points and with 29 goals scored.

Jesus, who bagged a brace in the game at the Etihad Stadium, told BBC Sport: "We are very happy with our home performance, but it's the whole performance of the team.

"We are playing well this season and I think the fans are enjoying it; I think that is more important than scoring lots of goals.

"We have been working and training hard, we face every game trying to win. There might be times this season that is difficult [to maintain], but at the end of the day we need to do what we can do. If we train well we will get our results at the end of the season."

Up next for City is a Champions League home encounter with Napoli on Tuesday night.
