Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has insisted that he has no problem with Roberto Mancini's rotation system at Eastlands.
The England centre-back scored on his return to the City lineup in their 1-1 draw with Arsenal this weekend, after teenage summer-signing Matija Nastasic was preferred for their Champions League defeat to Real Madrid last Tuesday.
Lescott has acknowledged that changes are inevitable with Mancini having such a talented squad to choose from and feels that the selection method can help City replicate last season's success.
"The gaffer made it clear that everyone's got a part to play this season, and it was the same last year," said Lescott.
"It worked for us last year and we need to stay focused on the job, and that's to go into every game to win."
The 30-year-old has made four appearances in all competitions for the Premier League champions this campaign.
