Joleon Lescott dismisses claims that Manchester City will underestimate Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.

Joleon Lescott has claimed that Manchester City will not be underestimating Queens Park Rangers when they face them on Sunday.

Roberto Mancini's team need a win to secure the Premier League title but Lescott has revealed that they will not be approaching the game any differently to how they normally would.

The England international said: "I've heard a few things have been said about how we will approach the game and that we think all we have to do is turn up.

"But that's just nonsense. We don't think like that about any team we face. As professionals we would never allow that to happen — that's why we are where we are.

"Every team we play represents a different challenge and we will go out there with the right attitude and manner and try to get the job done."

Manchester City have won their previous five league games.
