Roberto Mancini is doing his best to keep his players' feet on the ground.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is refusing to get carried away about becoming Premier League champions.

City will finish first if they match Manchester United's result at Sunderland or simply beat Queens Park Rangers in their final game of the season. It will be the first time in 44 years that the Citizens have won England's top division, but Mancini isn't letting his players lose their focus on the task at hand.

"We have two fingers on the trophy. But it is not enough, because we still have one more game and it is a difficult one," said the Italian.

"My feeling is good after the Newcastle result and so is the feeling of the players. But we need to play the QPR game in the right mood.

"We have managed to keep the players' feet on the ground. If we don't keep our concentration and prepare well for the game, it will end up being very difficult."

City host QPR at the Etihad Stadium while United travel to Sunderland on Sunday.
