Manchester City are planning to further suspend Carlos Tevez and fine the player £1.5m, reports suggest.
According to The Sun, City are pushing for a full six-week suspension and a large fine for Tevez's refusal to come on as a substitute during a Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
The striker has already been suspended for two weeks – the maximum a player can be given – but City aim to show the PFA that there are extenuating circumstances in order to extend the ban.
Meanwhile, Tevez has returned to Argentina and refuses to comment on the affair.
