Carlos Tevez will give evidence today (Monday) over allegations that he refused to come on as a substitute during Manchester City's 2-0 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich last week.
The incident sparked outrage from manager Roberto Mancini and widespread criticism from the media, resulting in a two-week ban for the Argentina international.
Tevez will be accompanied by a translator when he faces questions at City's internal investigation, and it is believed that the striker will claim that the incident was a misunderstanding.
His fellow substitutes and club staff will also give evidence.
Reports this week suggested that the club are prepared to fine Tevez up to £1.5m and extend his suspension by a month.
