Alvaro Negredo, Martin Demichelis to miss Crystal Palace match?

Manchester City could be without Alvaro Negredo and Martin Demichelis for the visit of Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Manchester City duo Alvaro Negredo and Martin Demichelis could be missing from their side's fixture with Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

Negredo scored City's winner against Liverpool on Boxing Day, but he limped off late in the second half at the Etihad Stadium.

Demichelis missed the encounter with the Reds after picking up a muscle injury during training on Christmas Day, and he may not recover in time for the visit of the Eagles.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini could make further changes to his starting lineup with the game taking place less than 48 hours after their triumph over Liverpool.
