Manchester City have reportedly agreed a deal for current Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini to replace Roberto Mancini for next season.
The owners of the Premier League club are thought to be disappointed with the way that the Blues have relinquished their title to neighbours Manchester United this year.
They are now expected to pay a €4m (£3.4m) release clause to bring former Real Madrid manager Pellegrini to the Etihad Stadium over the summer, according to AS.
City take on Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
