Stoke boss Tony Pulis admits that he is pleased with his side's controversial goal during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has admitted that he was pleased with his side's controversial goal during their 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

Potters striker Peter Crouch appeared to handle the ball before he gave the hosts an early lead over the Premier League champions at the Britannia Stadium.

"I haven't seen it but if Peter has [handled it] I'm absolutely delighted to have got one against one of the big clubs," Pulis told BBC Sport. "Usually it is the big clubs who get one against us."

City boss Roberto Mancini has described Crouch's goal as having more in common with basketball than football.
