A report claims that the Manchester City board will consider Roberto Mancini's position in the summer.

Roberto Mancini's position as manager of Manchester City will reportedly be reviewed at the end of the current campaign.

The Italian signed a new five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium last summer, but reports have claimed that the club's owners have been disappointed with the performances of the team on the pitch.

City are currently 15 points behind rivals Manchester United ahead of tonight's derby at Old Trafford, while they also exited the Champions League at the group stages.

They are still in the FA Cup, but even if they go on to win that competition, Mancini's future may still be in doubt, according to The Guardian.

It is believed that the 48-year-old will meet chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak in Abu Dhabi for talks in the summer.
