New Manchester City signing Jack Rodwell has said that he is aiming to impress his new club after being handed a "great opportunity".

"It is a great opportunity for me, joining the league champions. It is a chance to win things," Rodwell told The Telegraph. "It will be an exciting place to go, playing with amazing players.

"I am still young but I'm going to try and work my way into the set-up and find my feet early doors.
