Pablo Zabaleta eyes perfect end to season

Manchester City full-back Pablo Zabaleta believes that his side will need to win all of their remaining games to win the title this season.

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has expressed his belief that his side must win every game from now until the end of the season if they are to win the title.

City currently sit third in the Premier League table, two points behind leaders Chelsea, although they will have two games in hand over both of the teams above them after Liverpool's match against West Ham United later today.

Manuel Pellegrini's side kept matters in their own hands with a 4-1 win over Southampton yesterday, and Zabaleta insists that they have the belief to go on and record a perfect end to the season.

"The most important thing was to win - we must keep winning all games. It is going to be very tough until the end of the season," Zabaleta is quoted as saying by PA.

"At the end of the season, sometimes, teams can look a little tired but I think we must keep winning games. Every single game now is going to be like a final, we have belief.

"I think we have a great team to make success this season but it is not going to be very easy. We need to keep working hard and keep playing like in the second half. I think playing in that way we will have more chances."

City's next match sees them travel to Anfield to face in-form Liverpool in a potential title-decider.
