Sergio Aguero has returned to the Manchester City XI for this afternoon's Premier League clash with Stoke City at the Etihad Stadium.

The Argentine did not start his side's first two league games of the season due to injury, but still scored twice as the current champions picked up six points from six.

Bacary Sagna also starts at right-back in place of Pablo Zabaleta, while Fernando will line up in midfield alongside Yaya Toure.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes, meanwhile, has brought Peter Crouch and Victor Moses into his starting XI. Mame Biram Diouf also starts in what is an attacking side for the visitors.

Man City: Hart; Sagna, Kompany, Demichelis, Kolarov; Fernando, Nasri, Toure; Silva, Jovetic, Aguero

Stoke: Begovic; Bardsley, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters; Whelan, Nzonzi; Diouf, Walters, Moses; Crouch
